Siding — Gray Two-Story House

June 2026 · 8 photos

Staging set, Tyvek, new gray siding, trimmed windows and gable ends.

On this two-story house we started by setting staging along the long wall so the crew could reach the upper courses. Tyvek HomeWrap went on over the walls before any siding.

New gray siding followed, run up the walls to the second-floor windows. We fitted it around the electric service and trimmed out the windows as we went.

The gable ends came last, sided all the way up under the soffit. We had a trim brake set up in the yard for bending trim on site.
